Joanne has an investment banking career spanning more than 35 years, around half of this time spent in corporate finance at UBS, Jardine Fleming and GE Capital, with postings to all major financial markets in the USA, UK and Europe prior to returning to the Greater China region. Her advisory experience covers a wide range of financial expertise, including M&A, debt and equity capital raisings, private placements, restructurings and infrastructure financing. In the 1990s she achieved international ranking as a leading Asia-emerging markets financial advisor. At Jardine Fleming, Joanne was a member of the first dedicated team of M&A professionals in Asia. She lists many Fortune 500, FTSE 100 and Sino 400 entities amongst her previous clients and is also fluent in Mandarin. Joanne studied for her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Adelaide, South Australia and holds an MBA degree from the London Business School. She reads, writes and speaks Mandarin.
